ive always wondered, how it feels like to be a Star Student, the One who teachers just KNOW they can put their hopes on. The One who will do excellent in the exam, no matter what hits.
JUST ONCE, i wanna know what it feels like.
but then.
i realise.
would i be able to CONTINUE that way ?
people would start raising the stakes and shoving their hopes sky high for you. can i handle that ?
they ll expect me to be a magician -- like David Blaine -- not needing to sleep or sit, and go through the night, reading my poor little eyes out on a chapter i SWEAR is in a foreign language, and STILL be able to joke around and make it to school the next day.
nah.
i choose to be an illusionist.
the one who SEEMS like shes doing excellently, but its just enough to be comfortable with, and take her life, one step at a time, enjoying it to the maximum, stopping to smell the roses once in a while :)
